This year’s Maundy Thursday worship service (7pm, April 9th) will involve a lot of tradition and renovation.
We will gather for a service with three components:
One: A Hand Washing Ceremony to reenact Jesus washing his disciples’ feet and giving them a new commandment, “That they love one another.”
Two: The Celebration of The Lord’s Supper. Communion will be served by intinction. Gluten Free Elements will be available
Three: Following the sacrament, we will worship our Lord in the traditional “Tenebrae” style, with dramatic readings, music and the extinguishing of candles.
Please make every effort to attend this very moving and meaningful worship service.
